Iconic Saint Laurent Paris dress from Hedi Slimane’s final runway collection for the house, Fall/Winter 2016. The piece revisits the famous lips motif associated with Yves Saint Laurent’s 1971 “Scandal” collection, reinterpreted here through Slimane’s sharp, sensual evening silhouette.

Cut from 100% silk with a full silk lining, the dress features a black base printed with vivid red lips throughout. The construction is highly sculptural: strong padded shoulders, long sleeves, a deep V neckline and a cross-over, hand-draped front creating an elegant wrapped effect at the waist. The cuffs are finished with five sequin-covered buttons, adding a refined evening detail.
