A striking silk dress from Jean Paul Gaultier’s tenure at Hermès, combining the house’s refined use of silk with Gaultier’s interest in fluid construction and dramatic draping.
Cut in a rich khaki / olive-green palette, the dress is built around a softly structured silk body with a wide boat neckline and an exceptionally fluid silhouette.
The most distinctive element is the sleeve construction: large draped panels of semi-sheer silk fall from the shoulders and along the sides of the body, creating a cape-like effect and revealing subtle variations of transparency as the garment moves.

Contrasting opaque silk borders frame the sheer sections and emphasize the architectural construction.
The waist is softly gathered and finished with a matching removable silk belt, allowing the silhouette to be worn either more relaxed or tightly defined.
The long side drapes extend below the main hemline, giving the otherwise clean knee-length shape an asymmetric, almost scarf-like movement.

Tiny flaw on one of the sheer draped sections.
Due to the volume and natural folds of the fabric, it is very discreet when worn.

The main Hermès neck label is missing; the original size/care label remains present.
