Architectural Issey Miyake dress from the Spring Summer 2020 collection, crafted in black technical pleated fabric using the brand’s Steam Stretch technology. The fabric is permanently shaped through a heat-steam process, creating sculptural zig-zag pleats that move diagonally across the body and enhance the silhouette with depth and texture.
Designed with a sleeveless cut, softly structured shoulders, a round neckline, and an asymmetric sculptural shape through the waist and skirt. The hemline falls in dramatic uneven points, creating fluid movement while keeping the piece lightweight and easy to wear.
