An exceptional archival piece from Maison Martin Margiela’s SS 1999 retrospective collection, created to celebrate the maison’s first decade.
This bolero is a faithful reissue of a FW 1995–1996 design, conceived as part of Margiela’s exploration of mock-ups and raw, unfinished prototypes. Though featuring buttonholes that suggest attachment to another garment, this piece was intentionally presented as a standalone creation.

Constructed in black cotton with Margiela’s signature deconstructed silhouette, the design covers the bust, with shoulders subtly sloping forward for an avant-garde fit.
