Exceptional Maison Margiela trench coat from the Spring-Summer 2020 runway collection, cut in an oversized silhouette with a dramatic semi-transparent satin outer layer. The piece features a striking all-over photographic print mixing red, purple, black, white and muted green tones, creating a layered, almost abstract visual effect.

The construction reworks the classic trench coat through Margiela’s experimental language: double-breasted front, wide lapels, storm flap, belted waist, adjustable cuff straps and long fluid length. The translucent surface gives the coat an ethereal quality, while the print creates depth and movement depending on the light and what is worn underneath.
